Welcome in Grundlsee

From the terrace (4-6 chairs with cushions, a table and a parasol) you enter a small kitchen with electronic oven, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, crockery, saucepans and tea towels. It is prohibited to barbecue on the terrace due to fire regulations, as it is too close to the wooden house. Your own barbecue with view down to the valley is available.

Down a corridor you come to the living room cum bedroom: corner seat with a cross table, double bed, sofa, drawers, wardrobe, satellite TV, wooden floor (bedding provided). Access to the bathroom from the hall. Towels are also provided. No hairdryer. WC is separate. Water: Grander water processing. Warm water: solar heated. Electric heating when necessary.

Library with over 20 books. On request youths and children’s books.
Cards, board-games and parlour games
PlayStation 2, with games (for the most part Ego shooter)
DVD recorder (via PlayStation) DVDs can be borrowed at no extra cost from me.
W-Lan connection, internet in the house: checking e-mails on my PC without downloading is possible
Sun beds available for 2 people, bath towels for up to 3 people, parasol for the terrace
Joint use of the barbecue (with view down to the valley)

No pets allowed as we have a cat.
Information for people allergic to cats: we have a cat that is rarely in the holiday apartment, only when it is being cleaned.

No-smoking apartment, smoking on the terrace is allowed.
Parking in front of the house.

Location: Grundlsee is about 25 minutes on foot, Bad Aussee approximately 40 minutes on foot. A car is of advantage. I can collect people travelling by train and take them back to the station, otherwise no transport service is available as I am working.

For families:
Children in with their parents are free. The terrace can be locked with a gate so the children cannot fall down the stairs. You are in the woods or meadows within 2 minutes or at the neighbour’s sheep. There is a path which goes uphill for about 10 minutes before flattening out which can be done with a pram (at least one with big wheels). At the moment I am not equipped for children, I have no cot or high chair etc. However I would be happy to organise these things for you should you book early enough and do not want to bring these things with you.
